About Junior Achievement in Our Area |
Over 8,000 elementary, middle, and high school students were involved in Junior Achievement programs locally during the 2007-2008 school year. Another 8,000+ students are expected to participate in the 2008-2009 school year. |

Junior Achievement is a volunteer-driven organization with more than 400 business people, parents, and college students visiting local K-12 classrooms. Each volunteer makes 5 to 8 visits to the classroom to complete a Junior Achievement program. Volunteers receive training and materials from Junior Achievement staff prior to making their first classroom presentation
Junior Achievement is funded entirely from contributions received from area businesses, foundations and individuals. At least 90% of revenue raised at Junior Achievement's Special Events were devoted to providing program services over the past year. |

 Today in Your Community |
|
Junior Achievement of the Space Coast is proud to serve as the bridge between business and education. Small businesses in Brevard County make an impact on the children of their communities by sponsoring classrooms. However, a number of corporate and academic interests have expressed their desire to do more. That is why we created a Whole School Sponsorship Program that allows companies, community-minded organizations, colleges, universities and or even entire towns to directly sponsor all of the classes at a particular school, or series of schools.
In the Brevard area, the following organizations participated in the 2009-2010 school year. To get involved in this exciting program, please contact Kristin Schreiner at kschreiner@jaspacecoast.org.
